Your Responsibilities:

Defining, planning, conducting, and evaluating validation tests for all KACO products and thirdparty products, as well as tests for quality control (requalification) and quality improvement (reliability, environment, etc.)
Developing new validation tests to increase quality in new product developments
Creating and improving test procedures and documentation
Advancing test automation
Managing and commissioning external testing institutes/certifiers
Planning and setting up necessary test peripherals with measuring and testing equipment
Building, modifying, and repairing prototypes
Assisting with maintenance and service issues in the laboratory
Supporting laboratoryspecific processes such as calibration and electrical testing
Defining and planning the expansion or adaptation of the test infrastructure
Assisting other departments with technical questions

Your Profile:

Completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable education
Training as an electrical specialist (m/f/d)
Professional experience, preferably in the field of validation/test automation/certification or a similar area
Experience with measuring instruments, control software (e.g. LabVIEW), and simulation programs (Matlab) advantageous
Experience in the field of grid integration of generation units/systems desired
Knowledge in the field of power electronics
Experience in occupational safety advantageous
Good German and English skills in spoken
