Description

The Manager, ServiceNow will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ServiceNow team, providing expert advice, managing project timelines, and ensuring the effective distribution of resources.

This role also involves acting as a bridge between the team and ITS leadership.

They will be in charge of the development, deployment, and continuous enhancement of ServiceNow solutions that align with the university's strategic aims and address the dynamic requirements of UCLA's students, faculty, and staff.

This leader will drive the prioritization of delivery agendas, supervising the formulation of acceptance criteria in accordance with organizational objectives, and championing ongoing refinement to bolster growth and operational efficiency.

The Manager, ServiceNow will collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to guarantee ServiceNow meets business and end-user needs, and liaise with business stakeholders to refine and augment the products continually.

The Manager, ServiceNow will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling University stakeholders to effectively leverage ServiceNow.

This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students.

This role will execute UCLA's vision while modeling UCLA's culture and values.


Salary & Compensation

  • UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications

  • 5 years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology, computer science, management, higher education, or a related field. (required)
  • 2 years Experience leading teams in a management or leadership role, particularly in a fastpaced, serviceoriented environment. (required)
  • Significant experience managing ServiceNow or similar in a fastpaced, dynamic environment. (required)
  • Significant experience leading the endtoend product development lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing refinement. (required)
  • Handson experience in the development and management of information products throughout the entire lifecycle. (required)
  • Experience aligning IT strategies with the overall goals and mission of the university. (required)
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex technical information to audiences of technical and nontechnical stakeholders. (required)
  • Extensive experience solving technical and nontechnical problems; able to delegate solutioning when appropriate to the proper resources. (required)
  • Experience operating as a point of escalation. (required)
  • Demonstrated experience providing inclusive leadership of others, cultivating an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. (required)
  • 7 years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology, computer science, management, higher education, or a related field. (preferred)
  • 5 years Experience leading teams in a management or leadership role, particularly in a fastpaced, serviceoriented environment. (preferred)
  • Customerfocused approach to product design and development, with a deep understanding of user needs and behavior. (required)
