Cactus Day Camp is the only traditional day camp in the desert.

We provide a full-day program, five days a week for campers ages 4 to 13 for 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks.

We prioritize safety above all else while fostering lasting friendships, creating a sense of community amongst staff, and providing unlimited fun.

The role of a staff member who works before and after care hours at camp is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching experience for campers outside of regular camp hours.

Duties include:

• Supervising campers: Responsible for ensuring camper safety, following camp rules, and addressing any issues or conflicts.
• Planning and leading activities: Responsible for leading ageappropriate activities to keep campers engaged and entertained.
• Collaborating with other staff members: Responsible for working alongside other staff members who also have the same roles and responsibilities. Communicate effectively with the other staff to ensure a cohesive and safe experience for all campers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment: Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment and ensuring that the camp facilities and equipment are properly maintained and prepared for the upcoming camp day.

HOURS OPTIONS:

Morning Shift: 7:30 am - 11:45 am
Afternoon Shift: 12:30 pm - 6:00 pm

• 1 Hour AM Shift: 7:30 am 8:45 am
• 3 Hour PM Shift: 3:00 pm 6:00 pm
