    Join a company that sees your potential and growth. Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support our upcoming Laredo, Texas office. This is a hybrid position that will require the individual to be within a short drive to the project.

    Job DescriptionPrimoris Heavy Civil business unit is searching for a Site specific Project Controls Analyst in the Laredo, TX area.

    The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the assigned project deliverables are being executed within budget and on schedule; including, timely and accurate input of data, thorough and accurate review/analysis of defined cost and schedule elements, and timely and accurate document reporting.

    Key ResponsibilitiesIn depth understanding of project estimate & allocated budgets to the company standard code of accountsAssist in Developing, progressing, and maintaining/monitoring of the project schedule for the planning, procurement, construction and closeout phasesCoordinate, calculate, develop, input or update project budget information, changes, expenditure information, commitments and forecasts into the cost reporting system(s), and schedulesUpdate, monitor and Consult project costs and progress; including coding and/or reviewing the coding of timesheets and invoices for accuracy, as well as, ensuring adequate weekly tracking of quantities and productionAnalyze cost and productivity reports, present findings, and communicate recommendations to the project teamAssist in project setup, coding, take-offs and establish project baselineDevelop, implement, and maintain internal cost reports, forecasts and summary level progressProvide cost, schedule and key performance indicator input to the weekly and monthly progress reports ie earned value reporting SPI, CPI, PFIn depth understanding of Resource loading and analysis of data into schedules as required to maintain the metric.

    Conduct project forecast meetingsPrinting and distribution of technical and administrative reportsAssembly of monthly report packagesQualificationsBachelor's degree in construction management, Business Management or Finance/Accounting preferred.

    Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    Preferred 2 years' experience in Cost Control or similar position, preferably in construction.1-2 years' experience in the Heavy Civil construction industry preferred.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Familiarization with project controls procedures.
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, etc.
    Scheduling knowledge a plus.
    Experience and or exposure in Vista/Viewpoint, Ecosys, and web-based software applications.
    Ability to work as a team.
    Time management skills.
    Strong organizational skills.
