Position: Department Head of Electrical Engineering

Vassar College is seeking a Department Head of Electrical Engineering to join our team in Wiesbaden. Our client is a renowned company in the field of environmental technology and renewable energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of approximately 25 employees in terms of personnel, organization, and expertise
  • Ensure safe and cost-effective operation of EMSR for wastewater facilities
  • Manage projects related to energy supply, process control technology, and automation
  • Occasional on-call duties (approximately every 8 weeks)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive experience in process control technology
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Strong hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility
  • Fluent in German, both written and spoken
