Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a
Electrical Team Lead to join our team.

The
Electrical Team Lead at Frazer reports to the
Electrical Supervisor, and is responsible for coordinating, scheduling and monitoring the day-to-day activities of employees in the Electrical Department.

Accomplishes objectives by either performing the duties or by delegating tasks to the appropriate team member(s). This position is accountable for the overall performance and evaluation of the Electrical department.


What Does a Week in the Life of the Electrical Team Lead Look Like?

  • Accountable for their Electrical Department's productivity, quality, and efficiency by measuring/monitoring performance and requesting additional resources such as personnel, tools, equipment, etc.
  • Coordinates and communicates with Engineering and other production departments' personnel to improve workflows and processes to achieve goals.
  • Holds daily huddle meetings with team members, distributes work, provides assignments, communicates goals, changes and work progress to team members.
  • Notifies manager/supervisor of personnel problems immediately and may help prepare counseling report documents for the supervisor to review and issue to employees.
  • Maintains/promotes organized, safe, and clean work areas by educating on good housekeeping and directing personnel on Safety.
  • Encourage team members to share ideas for improvements and help bring them to the team or the supervisor.
  • Clock and Confirm all team members are in/out of job functions on Shop-Trac.
  • Ensure your team understands all work instructions and prints given, submit unit questions if there are any questions or are unsure about any information given.
  • Install components in the correct location using hand/power tools while following work instructions.
  • Ensure all tasks are signed off, close operation in Frazer Job Manager and release the job to QC when complete with station.
  • Complete "Punch-List" items identified by quality control within 2 hours or beginning of shift.
  • Follow proper safety practices daily. (PPE, Toolbox Topics, JSA's)
  • Review and submit your timesheets for approval on time.

Secondary Duties:


  • Communicates with respect and creates an environment where the team members feel valued and motivated to do a good job.
  • Works on selfdevelopment and seeks input from management and team members to improve leadership skills.
  • Attends all mandatory training and meetings, and encourages team members to do the same.
  • Actitly promote Frazer's core values and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist and crosstrain within the Electrical Department with assigned tasks or other departments when needed.
  • Order material and KanBan for the Electrical Department.
  • Performs other duties reasonably relating to this position or assigned by the supervisor.

Required Education and Experience:


  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 12 Years of Mechanical/Assembly Experience
  • Safe and correct use of a variety of hand tools and power tools
