We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.***: The Operations Team Lead provides the first point of contact for all guests. This Team Member is expected to provide excellent guest service to all stakeholders and help cultivate a memorable event experience. There will be game day responsibilities for home volleyball and basketball games. This position will also have a large role in supporting daily operations, facility upkeep, and leading operations shifts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Perform operating procedures relating to events and programs
- Support all aspects of game day operations for home volleyball and basketball games
- Effectively lead Operations Team shifts
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance work
- Assist with monitoring quality control of vendor performance
- Consistently communicate issues and relevant updates to direct supervisor
- Greet all guests and stakeholders according to our Guest 1st Service model standards
- Act as a liaison between the venue and the guests
- Assist with ensuring all buildings under management scope are clean, safe, and guestready
- Help maintain and keep inventory of department asset
- Assist in making sure all game day equipment is in proper working order
- Adhere to all facility and SFM policies and procedures
- Adhere to all local, state, health and safety laws
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- 12 years of event execution and experience
- Ability to maintain focus in a highvolume, fastpaced environment
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Must be detailoriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must be respectful and friendly
- Must work well with others
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and venue
- Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
- Facility has intermittent noise
