***: The Operations Team Lead provides the first point of contact for all guests. This Team Member is expected to provide excellent guest service to all stakeholders and help cultivate a memorable event experience. There will be game day responsibilities for home volleyball and basketball games. This position will also have a large role in supporting daily operations, facility upkeep, and leading operations shifts.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Perform operating procedures relating to events and programs
  • Support all aspects of game day operations for home volleyball and basketball games
  • Effectively lead Operations Team shifts
  • Assist in performing preventative maintenance work
  • Assist with monitoring quality control of vendor performance
  • Consistently communicate issues and relevant updates to direct supervisor
  • Greet all guests and stakeholders according to our Guest 1st Service model standards
  • Act as a liaison between the venue and the guests
  • Assist with ensuring all buildings under management scope are clean, safe, and guestready
  • Help maintain and keep inventory of department asset
  • Assist in making sure all game day equipment is in proper working order
  • Adhere to all facility and SFM policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all local, state, health and safety laws
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • 12 years of event execution and experience
  • Ability to maintain focus in a highvolume, fastpaced environment
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be detailoriented and have outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
  • Must be respectful and friendly
  • Must work well with others
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and venue
  • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
  • Facility has intermittent noise
