Description

• Move freight or other materials to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles by using forklifts, and other equipment.
• Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
• Manually handles, repacks, restacks, and attach identifying tags to pallets of finished product as needed.
• Record numbers of units handled or moved by using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Operates forklift truck as needed and position material handling equipment effectively and safely.
• Jockey finished trucks and empty trailers.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting
• Proficiency in materials handling, including operating forklifts and other heavy equipment
• Experience with loading and unloading materials efficiently and safely
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
• Ability to operate reach trucks, order pickers, and other premium equipment
• Previous experience in warehouse management or supervision is a plus
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and control
• Certification in operating cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or equipment repair is preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment for shipping and receiving tasks
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Capable of heavy lifting and performing order picking duties with accuracy and efficiency.
