Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Officer to join our team in Waller, Tx.

As an Environmental Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide training to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and hazard recognition
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for continuous improvement in health and safety performance
  • Stay uptodate with changes in health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Prepare reports on health, safety, and environmental performance for management review

Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA) and workers compensation laws
  • Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures
  • Proficient in report writing and data analysis
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA standards preferred
  • DOT Compliance
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs on EHS topics
  • Ability to fabricate solutions to address safety concerns

$75, $81,592.00 per year
