Position Purpose:
The IT Manager will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of FTOC's computer and Network systems. The position will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing and network needs.

The IT manager will also supervise 1 staff member and will work with 2 additional contracted specialists to ensure efficiency and safety across all of FTOC sites, including FTOC's mobile services fleet, which utilize remote access to the organizations systems.


Core Duties and responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure management, system maintenance, and user support.
  • Manage information technology and computer systems, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs
  • Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company's network software whenever a new update is available
  • Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company's network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem
  • Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team each quarter
  • Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company's network.
  • Ensure IT Help Desk Ticket requests are processed in a timely manner.
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Work with current contractors to ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.

Education and Training:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with IT project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years of related experience, two of which should be as a manager.
  • Proven experience in IT management in leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical personnel.
