Qualifications:


  • PADI/SSI/NAUI Open Water Diver Certification or higher
  • Proficient in team environments, with a genuine passion for SCUBA diving.
  • Strong customer service ethos is essential.
  • Minimum 1year sales experience in retail or in a customer facing position.
  • Availability to work Sundays and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities:


  • Work in our Manhattan dive shop selling scuba gear, travel, lessons, and services to our local customer base.
  • Provide educated customer service and gear advice to shoppers instore.
  • Help to maintain store displays and shelves.
  • Collaborate with management to identify areas of improvement in our retail environment.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • The hourly rate of pay for this role is $22. The rate will be determined based on overall skills and experience. This position is eligible for a commission based off sales and business needs._
