    Loan Processor LOA

    Our institution is experiencing rapid growth We are building our capacity by hiring an experienced mortgage loan processor for our highly productive and skilled lending team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the loan process, from origination to close, while paying close attention to the compliance of current lending policies and regulations.     Compensation:

    $ $24.50 hourly plus commission

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist borrowers in determining the best mortgage type based on interview and situation
    • Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial
    • Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file
    • Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system
    • Serve as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to support loan approval
    Qualifications:
    • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans
    • 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required
    • Accounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required
    • Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills
    • Minimum of 5 years of loan processing experience
    • NMLS Licensed a Plus but not required
