Within CAS, our
Standard Terminal Area Replacement System (STARS) program offers a thrilling opportunity to join our ranks as a
Configuration Management Analyst.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Air Traffic Control systems.

_ This position offers a _
_highly flexible__ HYBRID work schedule, with a requirement to come to the office only once a month. Additionally, enjoy every other Friday off with our 9/80 work model.

What YOU will do:


  • Configuration identification and configuration control.
  • Configuration status tracking, accounting, product release and delivery.
  • Configuration audit support: processing multiple types of documentation including engineering change notices, support program Configuration Change Control Board (CCB)s and provide CM assessments and inputs to engineering change requests.

Education & Experience:


  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications you must have:


  • Minimum of 5 years of related Configuration Management (CM) experience in a Product Data Management (PDM) environment, which includes implementing Configuration Management principles, processes, and training. This encompasses configuration control, identification, data management (library/repository), product release and delivery, and configuration audits.
  • Proven experience working in a collaborative team setting, necessitating frequent multilevel communication (both verbal and written) with engineering, program management, and external stakeholders. This also involves writing technical documentation and developing and facilitating technical presentations.
  • Previous experience operating effectively both within a team environment and independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated willingness to guide individuals through change management steps promptly and effectively.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing Configuration Management principles, processes, and training, covering configuration control, identification, data management (library/repository), product release and delivery, and configuration audits.
  • Familiarity with change management involving a defined product breakdown structure with parentchild relationships in a CM tool environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Skills we value:


  • Experience working with CMMI and ISO 9000 CM requirements.
  • Certifications from either NDIA or CMII in Configuration Management
  • Experience with SharePoint environment and/or Windchill tool sets
