JOB SUMMARY:
The CPS (Community Participation Services) works for the betterment of the community at large.

The CPS coordinator connects individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with the community by creating opportunities for engaging in meaningful activities.

These activities not only provide opportunities for enjoyment and recreation but also promote confidence, skill development, social interaction, and overall well-being.

Each activity comes with ideas to ensure a positive and enriching experience.

The CPS Coordinator will be responsible for the overall day-to-day administration and management of day habilitation, community-based day support services and the community activity center.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


CPS Coordinator Job Duties:


Ø Identifies and develops relationships with key community partners to establish volunteer and work opportunities as well as community integration relationships.

Ø Develops program goals and objectives in alignment with community needs.

Ø Oversees program/schedule implementation, including staff supervision, and training/evaluation for assigned Day Staff.

Ø Conducts outreach activities to promote program participation.


Ø Serves as a resource to the Community Activity Center, which includes oversight of the schedule of activities, opening and closing the building and being the main point of contact.

Ø Attends community events to represent the program and build relationships.

Ø Work with direct support professionals to ensure compliance with all applicable 507, 521 and 525 regulations.

Ø Attend administrative team meetings.


Ø Execute the development of CPS goals for annual ISA's (Individual Service Agreement) while maintaining the vision fit with the organizational structure and mission to include the people first focus.

Ø Monitor incident reporting, attendance, and data collection.
