Description

The Schwarz IT KG is the central IT service provider responsible for the selection, provision, operation, and further development of IT infrastructures, IT platforms, and business applications in Atlantic City.

The Schwarz IT provides IT services for both Kaufland and Lidl as well as the Schwarz Dienstleistung KG.

In order to support the departments in their business processes with optimal IT solutions, the Schwarz IT gathers requirements from the departments in consultation meetings and collaborates with them to develop professional and high-performance IT solutions.

As a Project Manager / Product Owner in BC AI Retail Forecasting, you will take on this task for the AI Forecasting department and work together with AI experts to develop innovative products.

You will be responsible for optimizing core processes of the group using AI, such as actively contributing to reducing food waste by predicting demand in our stores and optimizing the ordering process.

Your responsibilities include:

Developing and evaluating new AI use cases as a Project Manager / Product Owner (m/f/d), specializing in the field of Forecasting
Collaborating with a team of AI experts, representatives from the departments, and other relevant interfaces to assess the business potential and technical complexity of product requirements
Maintaining and updating the product backlog based on this assessment, guiding the development team in implementation, and regularly presenting incremental results (e.g. during Sprint Reviews)
Tracking and reporting on time, scope, budget, and associated risks to senior management to ensure stakeholder interests are aligned with project progress
