Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging and neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation.

The starting base rate of pay for the Nursing Station Technician is $22.00. Candidates with experience may be brought in at a higher rate of pay.We offer a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation/sick time, 403(b) plan, tuition reimbursement and more.

This position will be working 32 hours every two weeks on the evening/night shift, 8 hours shifts and every other weekend.
The Nursing Station Technician in the Pediatric CVICU is a hybrid position consisting of both Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator roles to deliver direct patient care and administrative duties.
Other job duties include:
Required
License/Certification/Registration
AND ONE or more of the following:
Successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program or another Fairview sponsored Nursing Assistant program.
OR
Six months of recent direct care experience in a long term, home care or acute care setting. (Appropriate roles may include, Nursing Assistant, PCA, Resident Assistant or Emergency Room Technician)
OR
Current enrollment in an LPN, RN or Nurse Practitioner program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program
OR
Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire. This requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another Nursing Assistant or Nursing Station Tech or Nursing Station Attendant position
