Summary
Provide an excellent dining experience to our diverse guests. Exemplify guest service and possess extensive food and beverage knowledge.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greet guests as they enter or leave the establishment.
  • Take guest orders, collect payment and process in the pointofsale (POS) system.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change; redeem comps and coupons.
  • Expedite orders by reading tickets, identifying menu items, and delivering hot and/or cold food to guests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including all tables and chairs; reset clean tables.
  • Restock and maintain adequate supply levels of tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments, and linen in the dining room and side stations.
  • Practice Safety and Sanitation techniques in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform tasks including bussing tables, side work, and additional duties assigned by management.
  • Answer questions and provide basic knowledge of Cache Creek Casino Resort to our guests.
  • Must successfully pass Symphony and obtain general knowledge and skills in operating POS.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and display the R.I.C.H. values and 3 E's of Cache Creek Casino Resort to all guests and employees.

Qualifications

Experience and/or Education
Three months experience in customer service.


Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.


Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to guests and employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.

TIPS certificate and Guest Service Training within 90 days of employment.
