Job Overview:
I are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to care for my elderly parents as a Home Health Aide. English speaking is a must. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support for my mother and father. My parents live in an apartment in Aventura. Good cooking skills and positive energy are a must.


Duties:

• Assist my father with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with father's oxygen maintaining it is working correctly and monitoring
• Play cards with my mother throughout the day and provide entertainment.
• Must have car and be able to take parents to doctor appts and take my mother to hair appointments weekly
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Prepare great meals and snacks
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up, maintaining clean kitchen, making beds
• Help with mobility issues, including transferring and lifting
• Monitor and report any changes in parents condition or behavior to me
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Feed small dog in the morning and evening and sometimes take for a walk.

Experience:

• Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to cook delicious meals

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be kind at all times
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, MUST speak English
• Empathy and compassion for both mother and father requiring assistance
• Ability to follow instructions
• Knowledge of proper lifting techniques to ensure safety

Pay:
$20.00 per hour


Expected hours:

• Evening shift

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work setting:

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (required)
• CNA (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Aventura, FL required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (preferred)
