- Respond promptly to individual volunteer inquiries, prioritizing emergency needs for immediate attention and addressing non-emergency inquiries within 48 hours.
- Recruit and assign volunteers to various roles such as committee work, office support, ReStore, builds and special events.
- Conduct regular orientations to onboard new volunteers effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the need for volunteer services, implementing improvements to enhance program quality.
- Report on volunteer satisfaction to the Volunteer Services and Special Events Manager and VP of Development, ensuring ongoing program enhancement.
- Develop and execute formal and informal appreciation activities to recognize the valuable contributions of volunteers.
- Manage community service volunteers, coordinating efforts with local and external districts.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, statistics, and the affiliate's volunteer database, utilizing platforms such as Salesforce and Volunteer Hub.
- Ensure compliance with necessary documentation, including volunteer timekeeping, liability waivers, confidentiality, and media releases.
- Update volunteer outreach and engagement materials and online communications annually to keep information current and relevant.
- Contribute content to the volunteer database and/or newsletter, sharing relevant information, articles, and updates to keep volunteers informed and engaged.
- Coordinate volunteer participation in community booths and fairs, maximizing visibility and recruitment opportunities.
- Support Global Village trip leaders in recruiting and preparing volunteer teams for service abroad, as assigned.
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Services and Special Events Manager or VP of Development to address volunteer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to support organizational needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Volunteer Services and Special Events Manager or VP of Development on ad-hoc tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the department and organization.
- Knowledge of and willingness to promote the mission and activities of Pensacola Habitat for Humanity.
- The ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range: $20 - $22 p/hr. ($41,600 - $45,760 annualized) plus a full benefit package
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Volunteer Services Coordinator plays a vital role in the recruitment, training, scheduling, and acknowledgment of local volunteers. They foster meaningful relationships within the community to expand the volunteer network and strengthen partnerships with individuals and groups. Additionally, they actively promote volunteerism within the community, seeking out new volunteers and creating fresh avenues for engagement with Pensacola Habitat for Humanity's mission.
Their responsibilities encompass all facets of volunteer coordination, from conducting initial orientations to maintaining databases and monitoring volunteer activities. Moreover, they proactively identify and promote volunteer opportunities across various service areas, including construction, office support, Habitat ReStore, and family services.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is primarily performed at a desk in the office. Outside meetings and presentations are frequently required. The position is classified as full-time, non-exempt. The work schedule follows general 'business hours,' with no fewer than 40 hours per week expected. Some evening and weekend meetings are required in locations and times when public transportation is unavailable. Occasional special projects may require spending consecutive days overseeing volunteer coordination.
