    Minimum Qualifications

    Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

    Essential Job Functions

    Ability to perform a variety of duties to include all aspects of cleaning such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, operation of floor maintenance equipment, stripping & waxing floors, trash removal, restroom sanitation, supply ordering, etc.

    Basic computer skills such as communicating through email, ordering online supplies, submitting work order requests.

    Communicating with fellow workers, guests and students in a manner that allows work to be completed and insures harmony and teamwork in the workplace; demonstrating knowledge of safety hazards; and other duties as assigned by supervisor.


    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

    Ability to perform a variety of duties to include all aspects of cleaning such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, operation of floor maintenance equipment, stripping & waxing floors, trash removal, restroom sanitation, supply ordering, etc.

    Basic computer skills such as communicating through email, ordering online supplies, submitting work order requests.


    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience in commercial housekeeping, using Green Cleaning products, working on a team, using floor maintenance equipment, and computer skills. Maintain a valid driver's license.
    Previous experience working on college or university campus.

    Knowledge/Technical:
    Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills such as e-mail and supply ordering. Demonstrated proficiency in service area and the ability to train and/or advise others. Arrange for repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery. Ability to act as a team leader in the absence of the supervisor including inspecting the work of other technicians. Is able to enter work orders into system.
