**Your Role: The Planning and Scheduling Specialist at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls, WI will develop, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain the Master Plan for the packaged products in our expanding Pro 5 area. This position is responsible for ensuring packaged products are available for our distribution centers and work with the operational team to meet our fill rate objectives for our domestic and global customers.
- Create operational schedules based on throughput, customer service, and all other company and/or departmental goals.
- Maintain and monitor the Planning and Scheduling of the area in SAP and related planning system to ensure schedules are optimized to achieve corporate business objectives.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing and other production/ purchasing planners to ensure your responsible materials and Customer Forecasts and Demand Information are correct in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and SAP MRP.
- Facilitate process improvement initiatives to improve customer service, increase productivity, eliminate waste, and streamline processes in operations.
- Analyze planned orders, requirements, and system designs with a view to global supply chain impact. Converts planned orders to packaging or production process orders as necessary.
- Develop SAP generated reports using various performance measures to identify opportunities for refinement of strategies, process improvement, and testing.
- Work with global planning teams as needed to ensure planning designs and requirements are coordinated across the entire supply chain.
- Analyze inventory and forecast status to provide superior customer service.
- Evaluate, test, recommend and/or implement changes that could improve service, cycle time, throughput efficiency, inventory levels, etc.
- Maintain and audit key SAP planning master data, including lot size, lead time, MRP controllers, safety stock, special procurement keys, schedule margin key and purchasing type. Develop excellent understanding of complex processes from beginning to end and all steps in detail to perform troubleshooting and process improvement.
**Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Supply Chain, or other Business or Math discipline.
OR
High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in planning & scheduling, demand planning, or other supply chain function.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, forecasting, and/or planning & scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards as it pertains to preparing documents.
- Certification from APICs or IBF.
- SAP system experience.
- Proficiency in APO forecasting tool. Experience in Process Improvement.
