Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and wants to contribute to the success of our organization.

Our organization is a manufacturer of fabricated metal products with over 100 employees.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the administration of HR programs and processes, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, safety, and benefits administration
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records in the HRIS system
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions
  • Prepare and distribute HRrelated documents such as offer letters, contracts, and policies
  • Assist with the implementation of strategic planning initiatives related to talent management and employee engagement
  • Support the FMLA process by tracking leave requests, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Collaborate with managers to post job openings and assist in the hiring process
  • Assist with data collection and analysis for HR metrics reporting
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed
  • Support the accounting team in various adhoc duties as assigned
  • Other office duties as assigned

Experience:


  • Proven experience working in a human resources role, office management role, or related field
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and other employee data systems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and/or project management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA and affirmative action planning preferred
  • Bilingual (i.e., English and Spanish proficiency) preferred
