    Description

    .NET Lead

    Location: Onsite at New York office (Monday-Friday) - Local Candidates only

    Interview Process: 1 internal video interview & 1 potential client round

    Lead software engineer excited to guide a team working on product development utilizing dotnet/C#, MSSQL, AWS, containerized services, and SPA-based UI applications. You will mentor your team, propose software design and architecture ideas to leadership, ensure product quality, and be accountable for the product you are working on. Hands-on programming new features, pair programming with developers, conducting code reviews, and creating technical designs. Agile work environment and part of a large technology group with multiple product teams.

    Responsibilities:


    - Transform Product Owner's vision and requirements into practical software designs.


    - Establish standards, best practices, and patterns for developers.


    - Lead teams developing products involving RESTful, multiple services, database systems, caching systems, logging, and APM integrations


    - Guide developers through code reviews and other methods to aid their growth and adaptation to the project's architecture


    - Evaluate and suggest new systems to benefit the product, collaborate with vendors for integration design and migration path if needed.


    - Develop Technical specifications, Architecture diagrams, and presentations for Architects and Technical leads.


    - Provide technical direction to UX, Creative teams, and UI developers for suitable solution and application architecture.


    - Conduct deployment calls, build CI/CD pipelines, and oversee DevOps processes.

    Qualifications:


    - Proficiency with:

    o dotnet and C#

    o relational databases, MSSQL or PostgreSQL

    o building cloud-hosted containerized applications

    o debugging, monitoring, and performance-tuning production applications

    o version control systems like Git, defining SCM strategies, and managing branching for deployments

    o Prompt Engineering, working with LLM APIs, integrating ML models in production services and pipelines

    o Data systems like Databricks or Snowflake

    o Understanding data security and compliance

    o Data pipelining, ingestion, transformation, cleaning, and preprocessing strategies

    o Python and knowledge of Python ML Libraries.

    Intermediate familiarity with:

    o building web applications with SPA UI frontends interacting with RESTful APIs

    o various architectural styles, e.g., Onion, DDD, Ports and Adapters, event-driven architectures

    o working with Cache, Search, and Messaging systems

    o writing unit tests, OOP, design patterns, and clean code

    o microservices and related architectures, different types of databases, optimizing queries, and designing schemas

    o containerized applications, IaC, orchestration solutions.
