ACT Substance Abuse Specialist - Toledo, United States - Unison Behavioral Health Group
Description
ACT Substance Abuse SpecialistEducation/Experience/Other Requirements:
QMHS 3+ with high school diploma required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
CDCA (can be obtained within 6 months of hire).Experience in integrated dual disorders treatment preferred.
Primary Duties:
Provide services to assist in resolving or minimizing the effects of a client's impairment.
Complete assessments, monitoring of conditions, and crisis interventions.
Provide education, linking and training in community resources to clients.
Assistance in daily living skills and help with obtaining necessary services for meeting basic human needs and entitlements.
Participates as a member of the ACT treatment team and serves as a consultant to the team in the area of substance abuse.
