About the Role _(Retail Inventory Coordinator): _

Nature's Care Co. dispensaries are conveniently located in Rolling Meadows and the West Loop in Chicago. Visit us and discover a full range of high-quality Cannabis products from all over the State of Illinois.

Our care specialists offer one-on-one personalized service that sets the standard for easy, safe, secure and private cannabis sales, every day.

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining appropriate levels of both cannabis and non-cannabis inventory.

They will be cross trained in all Lead functions, as well as manage inventory reconciliations, deliveries, destruction, and inventory organization and set up.


How you'll make a difference _(required duties and responsibilities)_**:

  • Establish and maintain appropriate levels of day storage inventory, to show for online ordering, but not overstocking.
  • Verify delivery accuracy after being received including invoice and manifest.
  • Ensuring the completion of all products set up and the transfer of inventory into the POS system postdelivery.
  • Assist with stocking of deliveries after received.
  • Document, process and destroy quarantined items.
  • Complete weekly ordering call with Retail Inventory Manager (in collaboration with site needs/discussed with dispensary management when necessary)
  • Purchase and stock noncannabis items including accessories.
  • Implement efficiencies to maintain the organization of sales floor and vault.
  • Analyze menu trends from competitors and establish pricing strategies with the Assistant Dispensary Manager.
  • Assist dispensary management with a full noncannabis inventory and a cannabis inventory audit to be performed on a weekly basis.
  • Review new product information with staff when needed and serve as a resource for new product information.
  • Work with Dispensary Management to design and implement inventory efficiencies.
  • Complete weekly destructions with other Leads or associates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of back of house (Vault, fulfillment room, office supply room and garage).
  • Oversee expiring inventory strategy by collaborating with Retail Inventory Manager/Dispensary Management.
  • Configure promotions in POS system and online menu.
  • Responsible for monthly inventory count summary and related documentation.
  • Manage and investigate inventory reconciliations issues and present to dispensary management for follow up.

Skills to be Successful _(minimum qualifications)_**:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience working in one or more of the following or similar roles:
  • Lead Dispensing Agent
  • Inventory Control Supervisor
  • Supervisory Experience in a retail facility
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be on feet for extended period.
  • Strong computer & equipment operation skills necessary for running an office/retail center (POS systems; Microsoft Office Suite; office equipment such as copiers, scanners, telephone systems etc.)
  • Thriving to perform job duties in a fastpaced environment with the ability to stay even keeled in periods of stress.
  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Demonstrated proactivity, flexibility, adaptability, and multitasking.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Skilled in inventory control
