**Operations Scheduler
Overview


The Operations Scheduler is a pivotal role responsible for forecasting, planning, coordinating, and dispatching the company's electrical workforce while optimizing operational efficiency.

This position will support all divisions including contracting, special projects, and service, and requires a keen understanding of workforce trends, historical data analysis, and effective communication with various stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with field operations and operations teams to gather and analyze data for forecasting workforce needs, while overseeing and managing communication, coordination, and scheduling of project assignments across all divisions.
  • Utilize statistical models, historical data, and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for workforce requirements.
  • Communicate forecast updates and workforce status to internal teams to facilitate informed decision making.
  • Monitor and evaluate electrician availability to ensure alignment with forecasted demand.
  • Create, edit, and utilize spreadsheets and documents using Microsoft, Apple, and various software platforms.
  • Track and maintain comprehensive data on employee certifications, such as but not limited to OSHA 10, background checks, and projectspecific badging requirements, to ensure timely renewal, alignment with project needs, and readiness for project deployment.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition department to effectively manage the deployment and termination of temporary electrician staff to meet seasonal and temporary workforce demands.
  • Drive continuous improvement by seeking innovative ways to enhance information processes while following up and following through on electrician assignments and operational situations.
  • Learn and retain electrician team members' strengths and weaknesses for optimal job assignment placement while demonstrating and upholding the company's culture and values.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in work schedules and pace, with the ability to proactively plan and execute tasks while effectively interacting with diverse personalities, maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Work collaboratively with field operations, operations, and the HR department as a valued team member.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, statistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience (35 years) in planning, forecasting, workforce management, or supply chain analytics. Experience in construction is a plus
  • Proficiency in workforce management software (e.g., Rivet) and statistical forecasting techniques is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk while on a computer, iPad, or iPhone while in the office or in the field.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
