Maximus is looking for a Software Asset Manager to support a DoD program based out of Arlington, Virginia

TCS123, T3, Band - Managing day to day software operations and inquiries and maintaining accurate inventory of software licenses.
- Ability to understand software license usage rights, conducting internal software license compliance reviews, and creating metricsbased reports for management review.
- Build collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to mitigate inherent risk associated with software asset ownership; conducts complex analysis where results are used to inform executive decisions.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of enterprisewide software asset management policies and procedures which minimizes compliance risk, enhances the program, and creates process efficiencies
- Responds to requests from Software Owners, end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT (Information Technology) Software Asset Management
- Manages proof of entitlement documentation and asset authorizations
- Maintain an inventory of all software licenses and subscriptions across the organization
- Act as the escalation point of contact for all customerreported incidents and requests
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Technology or Information Systems Management. Eight (8) years of relevant experience in lieu of an accredited degree.
- 8+ years of experience, preferably in help desk or tech support.
- 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products, to include SharePoint and MS Teams.
Desired Skills:
- Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities with great attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- 5+ years of recent and relevant experience supporting the federal marketspace.
- IT asset and technical support skills or related experience.
- Problem solving skills and solution implementation.
- Experience supporting a large team of individuals with varying levels of roles and responsibilities.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
