The UPS Store is currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team We are on the lookout for an individual with exceptional customer service abilities, strong organizational aptitude, and effective management skills.
The Assistant Store Manager at The UPS Store plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day functioning of our location.This position involves opening and closing the center, overseeing productivity, ensuring the team delivers top-notch customer service, managing cost control and expenses, and providing regular reports to the franchise owner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in performing personnel management, which includes training and coaching associates
- Monitors, evaluates, and maximizes customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Assists in overseeing Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Manages inventory
- May open and/or close the store and perform endofday accounting, etc.
- Frequently multitasks while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality control
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walkin customers and telephone inquiries
- Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Communicates effectively with customers
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Retail/customer service experience
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask
