    About the Role:


    Help us advance our robotics moonshot by designing and creating scalable, reliable, innovative new hardware components for Nimble's robotic systems.

    You will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to architect and build the world's most advanced robotic systems for the world's biggest robotics opportunityResponsibilitiesGenerate new concepts to solve our real world challenges.

    Create reliable and scalable designs and concepts.

    Design and implement specifications for life-cycle testingsDesign components for manufacturing and assemblingProvide input on all aspects of product development from brainstorming to final delivery.

    Welcome new challenges and work independently across disciplines to both investigate issues and identify solutions.
    QualificationsFast learner, A-player, great work ethic and ambitiousBS/MS/Ph.
    D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.3+ years of industry mechanical engineering experienceCAD expert (3+ yrs in Solidworks preferred)

    Machine design experience is required for this roleExtensive Mechatronics skills, specializing in actuation & sensingExperience with FEA, vibration analysis, risk analysisRapid prototyping, CNC, sheet metal design, plastics moldingElectronics & PCB integration, connectors & wiring harness design Experience with CAM, fabrication documentation, GD&T, vendor selection, materials sourcing, reliability engineering, structural analysisDesign-for-manufacturing, Design for assembly, tooling experienceProject management and planning, PLM, Jira & ConfluenceNice To HaveExperience with robotics, automation of warehouses, factories or labsSensors and control systemsCameras, optics, lenses, precision calibrationLinux shell, Python scripts and data analysisAdditional RequirementsWilling to work extended hours and weekends if neededCulture:
