General Warehouse Manager Positions

Canton Food Company, a Cash and Carry Food Distributor, a highly established business that has been serving Los Angeles for over 54years has an opening for a Produce Department Manager.

Responsibilities:

Maintain effective communication between departments
Managing the everyday business operation
Managing assets of the company
Demonstrates positive leadership characteristics
Support staff with service whenever and however necessary
Oversee Workers' Comp and Liability Insurance
Develops and empowers staff, mentor and help identify growth potential
Provides training opportunities that educate and empower the team
Conduct regular department walks to insure company standards are met
Scheduling
Assist with special projects
Problem solving, decision making
Good time management

Requirements:

Minimum of 35 years general warehouse manager experience
Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
High attention to detail
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong organizational, analytical and problem skills to manage workflow and priorities
Flexible to work in an ever changing environment
