Job Summary:


To ensure each guest of the hotel has the most pleasant and enjoyable dining experience by offering the best possible service.


Responsibilities:


  • Always maintain good personal appearance; wear proper uniform and name tag provided by hotel.
  • Greet all arriving guests at your station in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome.
  • Ensure that all guests receive immediate attention and that they are greeted promptly and courteously. Be sure that your guests are not being neglected at any time.
  • Advise the Manager of any complaints so that they can be rectified immediately.
  • Be sure the quality and appearance of the food presented meets hotel's standards.
  • Advise the Manager of any unsatisfactory food or beverage items so that he or she can replace.
  • Keep your station clean and set up with the required supplies always.
  • Work with the manager to see that the side work and other jobrelated duties are completed.
  • Check the cleaning frequency chart and do the required cleaning each day.
  • Make sure the tables are cleaned properly and set up according to established hotel standards.
  • Be sure that established service procedures are followed always.
  • Upon guest departure of breakfast area greet them and ensure they have a great day and come see us again.
  • As per your Manager conduct a weekly inventory of breakfast supplies.

Requirements:


REASONING ABILITY:
Must have developed reasoning abilities to the point to be able to:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers; and ability to calculate figures for basic inventory.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Must have sufficient computer skills that will allow the individual to be able to use, in a proficient manner, certain Company-issued software programs implemented at the hotel, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Office 365, Outlook, Company-issued internet browser programs, and Company-issued electronic mail programs.

Company-issued software programs may change from time to time; the individual is required to learn the new programs and upgrades as soon as practicable after such items are provided to the hotel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
