About Georgetown University and the McDonough School of Business

Located in Washington, D.C., Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business offers unparalleled access to the world's business, policy, and thought leaders.

The school, which attracts faculty and students from around the world, is committed to developing principled leaders capable of making complex business decisions in a global environment and who are dedicated to serving both business and society.

About the Master of Science in Finance Program
The MSF program is the first technology-intensive program at the McDonough School of Business. The program's revolutionary approach to business education has redefined what it means to study at a top-tier university.

While the program is technology intensive, it is unique in that it feels very much like an on-campus program from the student and faculty perspective.

Classes are taught in the Blended Classroom where students have the option of attending in-person or virtually.

This provides tremendous flexibility for our cohort-based student population who choose to complete the program in two years (while typically working full-time or seeking internship opportunities) or one-year where they study full-time.

Students also have an extraordinarily high aptitude and motivation for studying the most challenging aspects of finance and business.

The program graduated its' first class in 2015, and has won consistent praise for its cutting-edge approach to business education.

It has also grown from its initial graduating class of 31 students to approximately 420 students at the beginning of the academic year (across both cohorts).
