What to expect in this role at Maryville...

  • You will be the IT interface between our departments and external service providers (e.g. data center operators, infrastructure providers, and cloud services)
  • You will ensure the professional administration and life-cycle management of our department-specific servers in the cloud, physical or virtual
  • As a technical and operational administrator, you will continuously optimize our department-specific servers and applications
  • Together with the departments, you will plan and develop new systems and applications to optimize our processes
  • You will evaluate which services are better suited for the cloud or central operation and develop hybrid operating concepts

Qualifications and interests we are looking for...

  • You have completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
  • You have excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, as well as the services (web services, databases) and applications contained within them
  • You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience in the mentioned areas of responsibility
  • You are passionate about innovative IT solutions and have the ability to approach solutions systematically
  • Good communication skills, teamwork, initiative, and responsibility are your strengths
