What You Will Do:

As the Physician Recruitment Manager for Dell Children's Health Plan (DCHP), you will manage and operationalize physician recruitment and retention strategies for physicians and midlevel providers.

Experience with Medicaid - STAR and CHIP, as well as a strong sales background is required. Travel throughout central Texas is required.

Other responsibilities include:

Manage the physician recruitment team through mentoring and prioritization of department operations, assigned searches, workload, and special projects.
Work closely with executives to prioritize new and replacement opportunities based on the organizations overall strategy.
Manage and complete activities on all searches including the coordination of formal offers and drafting employment agreements.
Prepare fair market value salary survey data that is used to guide board and administration regarding provider compensation.
Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations.

What You Will Need:

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences:

Bachelors degree
3+ years Health Plan experience Medicaid STAR & CHIP
3+ years experience managing people (direct reports) & processes

Salary Description:
From $72,758.40 a year
