If you have a desire to learn and enjoy interacting with customers, we are currently hiring Barn Cashier at our store on Hwy 365 in Nederland, TX.

• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in friendly conversation
• Adjust to customer flow by always being on the move and available to provide assistance to customers and co workers
• Assists customers requests for orders or information on products or services
• Directs or assists customers to product location
• Comply with all cash handling rules and procedures
• Responsible for cash balance at end of shift
• Ability to learn and share expertise of products to fit customers' needs.
• Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge and current or upcoming promotions
• Maintains inventory and displays within assigned area to merchandising standards.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintains standard of cleanliness and organization
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Job is in outside environment

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials
• Dependable with a high level of integrity
• Preemployment drug test/physical/background check will help assure we build teams of people who can best work with others and serve the needs of our customers
• Accurate cash handling and math skills
• Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities
• Work in a standing position for extended periods of time. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
• Ability to lift 30lbs consistently
