    Description

    Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Quality Senior Analyst for its Jacksonville, FL location.

    Duties: Improve data trustworthiness and optimize data utilization throughout the business. Align with data dominance and assist data owners in their Data Stewardship responsibilities. Ensure consistent implementation in accordance with the Data Operating Model (DOM) with the goal of maximizing the business utilization and value of data. Execute Data Stewardship initiatives specifically related to Data Operations Management (DOM). Understand data requirements from customers, including business scope, risk-related metrics, data issues, data requirements, and Data Quality rules. Establish and maintain Metadata using approved tools, including Data Cataloging, Data Lineage, Data Sources/Ownership, and Data Modeling. Identify, resolve, and monitor Data Quality (DQ) related issues using Data Concerns Remediation Management (DCRM) practices. Perform Data and Source Certification to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data. Conduct root-cause analysis for data issues/defects, and support its resolution. Identify and propose CDEs while defining, standardizing, and documenting the metadata under each business domain. Support efforts to create or enhance Data Governance related procedures, user guides, business process maps, training materials, and Change Management documentation. Monitor and report on Data Steward related Metrics as per the standards defined by business leaders. Identify and support opportunities to streamline and simplify the execution of the CDGP (Citi Data Governance Policy). Present status updates, issues/challenges/risks, and solutions to senior management, stakeholders, and partners in a succinct manner to drive decision-making and actions. Conduct meetings to solve issues/challenges/risks by factoring input from partners and diverse points of view. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

    Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Finance, or Information Systems, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Designing data catalogs in Data Management Tool based on industry standards; Identifying and defining necessary technical and business requirements to deploy data quality solutions and enhancements; Working with complex and variable issues, weighing various alternatives, and balancing potentially conflicting needs; Building current-state data quality rules to ensure accuracy of the data coming from Authoritative Data Sources (ADS); Identifying and documenting the current-state system lineage and metadata by leveraging Data Management Tools; Maintaining data quality scorecards and tracking the red metrics; Utilizing Tableau to produce metric reporting; and Performing data profiling using SQL. 40 hrs./wk.
