Description

Full-Time Warehouse & Customer Service Position in the Wholesale Metal Service Industry. Providing customer service to industry professionals & to the public.
This position requires the ability to work a
40-hour week between 6:45am & 5:15pm Monday-Saturday. The ability to work within those specific hours is a minimum requirement of the job.

The position requires customer service experience of at least 1 year. The employee will be standing for the duration of their shift. This includes lifting & team lifting of 50 lbs. or more throughout the shift. You will be working inside and outside the building throughout the shift, pulling, loading, and cutting various metal products. These products could include metal tubing, angles, flat bars, pipes, and flat sheets. This position is labor intensive, and you must be able to work in a face-paced environment.

This position requires someone with a cheerful, outgoing personality & will always deliver exceptional customer service.

This includes multi-tasking walk-up customers, loading of customers vehicles, pulling will-call and delivery orders, cutting to length material on industrial equipment, & freight put-away.

We do not have any company positions that do not involve customer service & interaction.

We do not offer an overnight or evening shift.

Forklift experience, basic math, & tape measurement reading is a requirement of the position. Testing these skills is a part of the hiring process.

Some proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

After a short introductory period has been completed, uniforms consisting of pants and shirts are provided to the employee. Warehouse workers are required to wear steel-toe boots and must furnish their own steel-toe boots when starting the position.


The required responsibilities of this position could vary from the description above as the needs of the business may need to be adjusted.

Pay:
From $18.50 per hour
