**Job Description**

The timely performance of assigned facilities support services to include maintenance, shipping, receiving, courier duties, lawn maintenance, and general building repairs.

Inspect and clean the dock area, maintenance area, outside grounds including parking lot, and entry areas on a daily basis.

Inspect overhead lights and remedy problems as needed.

Perform routine maintenance items to include painting, carpentry, minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, and overall lab repairs on a daily basis.

Act as a primary contact for vendors for pest control.

Assist with unloading and storing product shipments.

Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers.

Assuring no damaged items are sent or received.

Work closely with other receiving clerks.

Other duties as assigned.

**Education and or / of Experience:**

High School Diploma

1-2 Yrs. related experience, Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a laboratory environment preferred.

**Other Skills:**

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Responsive problem solver and action oriented.

**Physical Demands:**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly sit and talk or hear.

The employee is required to stand; walk; and use hands to find, handle, and feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
