Description
The Sanitation Associate will clean facility and equipment to meet internal Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and ensure FDA & USDA standards.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Responsible for deep clean of wide variety of machinery so they will pass morning inspection.
Must properly break down and clean all production machinery and equipmentReview and follow internal Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), as well as, FDA & USDA standardsClean and sanitize all belts, surfaces, machines, & linesMop and squeegee floors, wipe down walls, etc.
in production areasOccasionally may use a ladder or scissor lift to reach and clean higher levelsRemove trash and cardboard and transport waste outside to trash compactor and receptaclesProperly use and maintain cleaning chemicalsHelp with general housekeeping and organizationFollow & encourage others to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)May help clean and maintain bathrooms, hand wash stations, or other general areas (e.g., break room, etc.)May help clean around exterior of the building as neededMay help in dish room or other areas as neededRequired Skills and ExperienceHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentObservation and initiative skillsGood communication skillsAttention to detail as sanitation programs are key to preventing potential bacteria problemsWillingness to cross-train and help in other areas as neededDemonstrated behaviors consistent with our Core Values:
