Position Overview:
The Catering Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in generating revenue by proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and coordinating the sales process for catering services.
This position requires a strong blend of sales acumen, customer service skills, and attention to detail to ensure the successful execution of events and the satisfaction of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inquiries from potential clients, providing detailed information about our catering services and pricing packages.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Prepare and present tailored catering proposals and contracts, outlining menu options, pricing, and event details.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, addressing any questions or concerns and providing regular updates on the status of their event.
- Assist with onsite event coordination as needed, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including culinary, operations, and event planning, to ensure seamless execution of contracted events.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details in the CRM system.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, such as developing promotional materials and participating in marketing campaigns, to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, 4 year degree or equivalent experience and education.
- Detailoriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Two plus years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively articulate the value proposition of our services.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Foodstorm, HubSpot, etc) and Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate client meetings and events.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for attending client meetings and events.
Benefits:
$21-22/hour, plus commission and tips
