TITLE:
RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

As a Part-Time Retail Associate at Fringe Sport Inc, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our showroom.

You will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers in their fitness equipment selections, and maintain a high level of product knowledge, particularly in the areas of fitness, including CrossFit, weightlifting, and related disciplines.

Additionally, you will provide support to the local sales manager and handle customer sales orders in our Shopify platform.

This sales role will also require creating Facebook Marketplace Ads to help generate leads & customers into our retail store and showroom.

As a frontline employee with customers, you will have a deep understanding of what customers want, need, and are looking for.

This knowledge will be critical when communicating with customers in-person and via Facebook Marketplace.


Key Responsibilities:


Showroom Management:

• Welcome and greet customers as they enter the showroom.
• Provide expert advice and information on fitness equipment.
• Assist customers in selecting the right fitness equipment based on their needs and goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.

Facebook Marketplace Management:

• Post pics and product videos to Facebook Marketplace to showcase Fringe Sport products.
• Respond to comments, and respond to DMs via FB Messenger, for example. You will receive ample training and help with this
• This portion of the role is critical to drive customers to the retail center and to achieve sales quota targets.

Engagement:

• Build rapport with customers and establish longlasting relationships.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and productrelated questions.
• Promote additional products and accessories to enhance the customer's fitness experience.

Sales Support:

• Assist the sales manager in various tasks, including inventory management, order processing, and sales reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.
• Participate in regular product training sessions to stay updated on the latest fitness trends and equipment.
• Light social media and marketing work to increase showroom traffic and local business (ex: FB, Craigslist, IG and OfferUp) Shopify Order Processing:
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately in Shopify.
• Ensure that orders are fulfilled promptly and customers are informed of order status.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims as needed

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Pick orders for retail walkins and local pickups
• Be available to help in warehouse with orders and shipping process, when needed
• Excellent communication with the distribution center team to load sales orders into customer vehicles.
• Most orders are between lbs, so must be able to handle lifting 50 lbs to waist level.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Understands the importance of achieving monthly sales quotas and goals. Achieving targets will generate more commission $'s for you.
• Knowledge and passion for fitness, including CrossFit, weightlifting, and related activities. If you are passionate about the equipment that you use when you work out, and excited about new equipment that comes out, then this is the right place.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Schedule Required: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 12 PM 6 PM CST
• Approximate hours per week: 2535 hours per week (Room for growth)
• Holidays and sales as needed

Compensation:

• This role has an hourly pay rate with a commission structure.
