Micron's Facilities Team is in search of a skilled Fire Suppression Technician to join our team at the new semiconductor fab in Boise, Idaho. We are seeking a dynamic, determined, and diligent individual with a robust work ethic and integrity to be part of our team.

Role Description

• Adhere to safety protocols, LOTO, and relevant industry standards
• Familiarity with IFC codes, NFPA standards, and regulations governing fire suppression systems
• Ability to interpret P&ID drawings and troubleshoot faults and alarms
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on complex facilities equipment
• Promptly respond to equipment failures and restore service efficiently
• Recognize and address alarm conditions appropriately
• Provide efficient support to resolve equipment issues promptly
• Identify and rectify equipment defects to enhance quality and system stability
• Inspect, test, and upkeep fire sprinkler systems
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, testing, and calibrations
• Manage Red Tag systems, isolations, and impairments on site

Requirements

• NICET certification or eligibility to obtain NICET certification
• 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent military background
• Capability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET certification
• 5 years of related experience
