My client is currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, architecting, and developing software projects focused on elevator and drive control systems in White City.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating automated tests and thorough documentation to ensure project integrity.
  • You will be instrumental in shaping software concepts and deriving essential software requirements.
  • As a valued member of our cross-functional, agile product team in Berlin, you will collaborate closely with our global test and development centers.

Requirements:

  • A degree in computer science or a related field is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various software development tools for version management, requirements management, test automation, and documentation is crucial.
  • Demonstrated experience in embedded software development, particularly in distributed systems (such as CAN bus or equivalents), is required.
  • You possess adeptness in using hardware and software tools for targeted troubleshooting related to hardware issues.
  • Experience or knowledge in control engineering.
  • Familiarity with power electronics or the control of electrical machines.
  • Knowledge of the Texas Instruments C2000 microcontroller family.
