We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, hardworking bread production baker to join our small and growing family run bakery.
Looking to hire someone with a mínimal one year experience mixing and shaping dough in a professional bakery.We serve naturally leavened breads, and pastry items to select Farmers Markets. Most of our doughs are high hydration and slowly fermented, familiarity with these practices is preferred.
We are extremely passionate about what we do, and would like our team members to work with the same care, dedication and even geeky obsession.
The position involves, all parts of production, from prep, to mixing, shaping, proofing and baking. Looking for passionate, responsible and reliable individuals with attention to detail. Also, good communication and openness to learning and developing your craft necessary. Willing to work bakers hours including 4am and overnight Fridays.Heavy lifting of up to 50lbs is required and standing long hours on feet.
