- Derive customer insights as a basis for all product management activities.
- Lead new product launch activities and grow legacy brands.
- Develop unique value propositions (UVP) meeting customer needs, at all levels.
- Product life cycle management, with a focus on value pricing, brand laddering, and portfolio optimization.
- 5 Year Forecasting by Product - Top and Bottom line by region by product, based on historical data and future trends. Steer profitability, and market share development.
- Validate operational product forecasts in SIOP / procurement process.
- Quantify market opportunities for allocated product segments, develop business cases for new technologies, conduct NPV analysis, propose product budget investment, assess portfolio gaps, and address market white spaces.
- Educate internal sales and select external partners on product technology and pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership and account managers to create integrated marketing and product plans for key customers.
- Design, deploy, and monitor channel marketing programs (seller incentives, rebates, early fill, etc.) for the respective product line to attract new customers, and increase share of wallet with existing customers.
- Collaborate and communicate with technical development and product management teams to gather and utilize the voice of the customer insights in campaigns and product development.
- Together with the R&D team, guide and support the innovation pipeline.
- Provide direction to Technical Development team in supporting the research and trial needs for the product line and commercialize related results Collaborate with Marketing Communications team on marketing material development and effective campaign management.
- Maintain high, professional, and modern brand standards across customer facing materials/assets.
- Define and implement the promotion, placement, and product marketing strategies in existing and new (international) markets.
- Participate in interviews to bring high quality talent on to the Verdesian team.

As the Product Manager for NUE On-seed Technology, you will be point-person for all aspects of the assigned products. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement product marketing plans, design and lead all go-to-market activities for the product line including customer-facing marketing tactics across distribution partners, retail partners, and growers. This position will work closely with - a) R&D to support the innovation pipeline, product training, b) with Marketing Communications to effectively execute marketing campaigns, c) with Sales team to drive channel & field engagement, d) with Finance to monitor and manage product profitability, e) with all other stakeholder such as regulatory affairs, manufacturing, supply chain etc., to enable 360-degree product overview.
