For the School Year:

SUMMARY:

This position will serve as an "in-school suspension" teacher that will be utilized for students that are in violation of the Student Code of Conduct and present a disruption and/or safety concern in their homeroom class.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification:

Must have a Secondary Certification and a Special Education Certification K-12.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of content and pedagogy skills in planning and preparation, establishing and maintaining a purposeful learning environment. Skill in delivering instruction, engaging students in learning and assessing and evaluating students. Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents and other district employees.

Abilities:

Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.

Pay Rate:
$56,083-$90,959 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
