Director of Social Work - SNF/LTC - Located in Long Branch, NJ

_ Salary:
$75K to $85K range (based on experience)_

Requirements of the Director of Social Work:

Educational Excellence: Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.
Licensure/Certification: Hold state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting is preferred.
Strong Skillset: Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Compassion: Demonstrate a deep dedication to improving the lives of elderly individuals.

Responsibilities of the Director of Social Work:

Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.
Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population.
