WIRTGEN offers this career path for Electrical Technicians (m/f/d) and Bachelor of Engineering / Electrical Engineering (m/f/d).

The prerequisite for starting the program is a high school diploma or technical diploma.

Graduates of the dual study program benefit from two recognized vocational qualifications, high chances of being hired, a shortened overall training time, improved personal qualifications, financial security during the studies, and excellent career prospects after successful completion.


The dual electrical engineering program combines university studies with vocational training as an Electrical Technician (m/f/d) in our company within approximately 5 years.

The training as a skilled worker begins before the actual studies in a one-year full-time phase in the company. In the second year, graduates start their studies at the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz.

Afterwards, the program alternates between pure studies at the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz and training in our company during the semester breaks.

The final exam for the Electrical Technician is completed in the seventh semester in front of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Koblenz (IHK).

The regular degree is completed in the ninth semester, and graduates are awarded the academic degree Bachelor of Engineering.
