Description
Providence Mother and Baby Clinics is looking for an On-Call Certified Nurse Midwife or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their team of Lactation Consultants. In this role, you will assist mother/baby couplets during the postpartum period in a lactation focused practice. You will collaborate with pediatricians and OB/GYN providers to offer post discharge follow up for mother and baby with ongoing lactation support for families who choose to breastfeed. This on-call position requires a minimum of 4 days per month, including 1 full weekend per month, and coverage of one summer and one winter holiday. No after-hours call is needed. The Lactation Consultants provide coverage at Providence Portland Medical Center, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Providence Reed's Crossing Clinic, and Providence Willamette Falls.

Providence Women and Children's Services offers integrated care to women and children, with a variety of programs catering to patients throughout their lives. As a leader in children's health, Providence hospitals deliver the most babies in Oregon. Work performed by Providence Women and Children's Services is coordinated with Providence Cancer Institute, Providence Heart Institute, and other specialized programs to provide complete care to patients.
