    Order Entry/Bookkeeper | Michigan City, IN

    Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

    Starting Pay: $17.50

    Shift(s): 1st shift - Monday- Friday

    Requirements & Skills:


    •Organized

    •Computer Program Knowledge


    •Sitting in chair or on stool to complete tasks for up to 1 hour per task, throughout the day.


    •Walking within the facility for distances of up to 75 feet, up to 30 times per day

    Primary Duties Include:

    ·Complete familiarity with the client's price list and pricing structure

    ·Basic understanding of the client's production capabilities and processes

    ·Respond to customer inquiries and requests

    ·Cross-sell full line of client's products

    ·Respond to RFQ's and process product quotations

    ·Receive orders from customers by fax, phone, email, EDI, etc

    ·Confirm orders, change orders, and art proofs

    ·Enter customer purchase orders into the Southware computer system

    ·Generate production work orders and picking tickets

    ·Update customer records in the computer system

    ·Data entry, printing and mailing of invoices and statements

    ·Process incoming customer payments

    ·Complete familiarity with the client's price list and pricing structure

    ·Basic understanding of client's production capabilities and processes

    ·Respond to customer inquiries and requests
